The Iveco Daily has the strength of a light commercial vehicle combined with the agility and comfort of a car. Range The Daily offers three wheelbases and three different heights, totaling eight load capacities from 7 to 17 m3, making it one of the top vans for internal volume capacity on the market today. Engine Daily VanThe Daily has an impressive five level horsepower, equipped with direct Common-Rail injection turbo intercooler diesel engines. Ideal for urban and suburban distribution, the 2.3 litre engines range with 96, 116 and 136 VGT HP, combine versatility, brilliant power and low fuel consumption. In order to offer power versatility and optimal fuel consumption, Iveco introduces the new 3.0 HPI 146 HP 3 litre, in line 4 cylinder, 16 valves (with waste gate valves), and 176 HP generating 400 nm of maximum torque coupled with variable geometric turbo and high pressure injection. The 3,000 cc ensures reliability, performance, efficiency and durability. Thanks to its steady torque over a wide range, it ensures high performance and driving flexibility improving driving comfort by reducing gearshifts Daily Van Weights The Daily cab is available in the following models: 29 L, 35 S, 35 C, 50 C, 60 C, 65 C with four wheel bases (from 3,000 to 4,750 mm) and a Gross Vehicle Mass (GVM) ranging from 3,200 to 6,500 kilograms. Load Area The internal volume of the Daily load compartment varies from 7 to 17 m3, depending on vehicle wheel base, internal height and total length. Access Daily VanCar like handling features make Daily one of the most comfortable and sturdy vehicles in its category. Access to the loading area, for example, is easily achieved with its double hinged rear doors and side sliding side door which is available on both sides. The door dimensions easily allow the loading of pallets. Thanks to its double hinged doors, the load compartment access is free from obstacles, helping the loading and unloading operations. The wide side sliding door allows easy loading of pallets, and on request, is available on both sides. Handling Thanks to the independent front wheel suspension and C section frame structure, the Daily is endowed with extraordinary agility and easy handling, an much appreciated quality in urban areas, heavy traffic areas and narrow spaces. The excellent wheelbase/overhang ratios ensures tight turning circles. The wide steering angles allow exceptionally tight turning even with the longer wheelbases. Safety Daily VanFor Daily, the attention paid to safety is a constant factor: it is actually available with the most up to date safety systems for both driver and passengers. The Daily’s safety begins with the frame: to start with, the front bumper is mounted on the sturdy ‘C’ section chassis frame. The cab steel protection shell, with its further reinforced upper beams, comprises a true protective cell. The dynamic safety is assured by the modern conception of its frame, with independent front suspension and power steering. Driver airbag, dual front passenger airbag, window bag and three point seatbelts with pretensioners. Active safety: the entire range is equipped with R16 ventilated brake discs. Also important safety aspects centre around the driver: limiting tiredness, stress and allowing maximum driving concentration. On board, for example, driver visibility is extraordinary, the vehicle is easy to use and its tight turning circle allows easy parking. The versatile engines reduce gearshifts and stress. Daily VanGreat attention is paid to the vehicle and its load security with standard features including: immobiliser, locking fuel cap, programmable central locking, windowless full steel bulkhead and windowless rear doors. Furthermore it is possible to equip the vehicle with an alarm anti theft system. Cab safety for both driver and passengers relies on 3 point inertia reel seat belts with adjustable shoulder anchors.
